Can anyone become a member of EMT House?
Membership is strictly invitation only or via nomination from an existing member and subsequent approval by our Membership Committee.
Is there an Annual Membership fee in addition to the Joining fee?
To become an EMT House member, there is a one off joining fee payable to officiate your membership. There will be no annual membership fees until an EMT House is built (the first of four being Red Hill, Vic) at which point, information regarding these fees will be provided to our existing EMT members should they wish to become a Residential House Member. The same rules shall apply to the subsequent three Houses – Daintree, Qld, Palm Springs, CA and Far Hills, NJ.
Terms of the member only Merchant Bank and property development of the Houses will be announced in Q2, 2024. Participation in these categories is optional and in no way impacts your EMT Membership.
Put simply, should you wish to limit your membership to EMT House Nature Workshops, and Community Experiences, you will not be required to pay any additional annual fees.
Alternatively, should you wish to access daily House usage for meals, accommodation, meetings, etc, additional fees shall apply (Residential House Member).
What does my membership provide me access to?
EMT House Stage 1:
Access to the invite only Private Members Club (a closed network of deal makers). This will include a digital platform for members to connect directly with each other (coming soon).
Attendance at Member only, Community lunches, dinners, experiences and pre-sale tickets to the Nature Workshops.
Access to seek capital via the House Merchant Bank.
EMT House Stage 2:
All of the above including access to our four Houses for private meetings, private dinners, enjoyment of the Houses unrelated to business.*
*Daily use of the Houses will require members to become Residential House Members
How do I book my place at the Nature Workshops or Community Experiences?
Your membership gains you priority booking into our two day workshops and experiences. These will be all be priced at market rates and will be available for viewing on the calendar in the Member Portal.
Is the Joining Fee payable though my business bank account?
Memberships are personal (we are not allowing corporate memberships) though you are certainly able to pay through a business account. We can provide tax invoices upon request.
Members can however, nominate select executives within their company for membership. In these cases the standard Membership Committee process shall apply.
Is my membership transferable from Australia to the United States?
Yes, as founding members of EMT House you will receive invitations to Nature Workshops and Community Experiences in Australia and the United States.
Our first Community Experience in Australia will be held in late January 2024 with bimonthly Community Experiences and Nature Workshops commencing in Victoria and New South Wales in February 2024. Thereafter, Community Experiences will commence in Q2 in the US in both Palm Springs and Far Hills and on occasion, additional states via sister venues. The EMT House California launch will be held in Palm Springs on April 18, 2024.
Are the images of the Houses on the website the actual houses?
No, these images are reflective of the planned development of our four houses.
